My Blog about Sara's Farm

Mom's friend Sara lives in a farmhouse because Sara lives on a farm. I went there on Memorial Day! I was pretty glad to go there because Sara has animals in her main barn: goats, chickens, roosters, hens (The hens always laid eggs.), and barn kittens! The goats lived in a pen outside the barn with a little hole in the barn wall for them to enter the barn pen. The barn pen has lots and lots of straw. The goats' names are Lola and Zipper. Zipper gave Mom a big kiss at one point! And Lola played with Sierra and Laten, Sara's daughter. The chickens were always outside the barn and by a little pond near the barn. Before we went to see the animals I heard the chickens cluck! I almost always walked on the plank over the water and saw lots of tadpoles! I saw a lot of tadpoles eating algae! The more they could eat, the more they could grow to frogs! And I always heard the roosters crow CONSTANTLY. That REALLY got on my nerves. It really set me off! Now there's a little coop in the barn where Sara keeps the hens. The hens had laid lots of eggs for their babies. When they flapped their wings to reach the floor, they gave me cool air! Sara told me she used to have a cow or more than one cow. But they pooped near a door that was replaced. Now I want to tell you about the barn kittens! There were three barn kittens, and they were very light when Laten, Sierra, Sara, Mom and I picked them up and held them. They were so CUTE! The kittens' names were Fara, Hofi, (it has a short "o" sound in it), and Cooper. They also had a mother and father. Their mother's name was Mini, and their father's name was Sampson. Sampson always went through a cat door in the window in their room. The inside of the barn had kind of a hallway for Sampson to explore. There was a BUNCH or about a BEJILLION dandelions with their seeds formed. That day, Sierra chased a goose that looked just like a girl mallard duck, only bigger, from the pond and it rushed past the seeded dandelions, and many of the seeds blew off the dandelions, floating over the place and landing in the grass. It was a fun day on Sara's farm! When we left, I was so hungry we had to go to Steak n' Shake to get my tired body UN-tired. But anyway, like I said, it was a fun day on Sara's farm!

My Blog about my Trip and Time to Massachusetts

I never thought I'd say all this to you, but I went to Massachusetts for three days a long time ago! First, Dad took me and Sierra to the General Ford Airport and waited for someone to call to us to head to the gate to our plane. While we were waiting, we saw the screens that showed the flight times and places, and Dad spotted the one that represented ours. When we were told to get on the plane, we did so, and sat in the plane. Someone who worked on the plane was named Katie, and she was very nice to me! Then a few minutes later, the plane was about to take off! Once the plane took off, I looked down from the window and saw that everything outside the plane looked like a miniature set from a VERY HIGH VIEW! I looked down on Lake Michigan, and white dots I saw there turned out to be boats, I was told by Dad. Then almost an hour later, the plane went to a jet way near another airport and landed and stopped at the gate and we exited the plane and we waited there for the next plane. That next plane took us to Massachusetts. While we were waiting at THAT airport, we bought food from the Wendy's area in the airport so we'd have food before going on the plane. When we were called to get on the next plane, there were two rows of seats that stretched from the back of the plane toward the cockpit! Each row had three seats after three seats, so we sat together, and the plane ride took 2 1/2 hours! I wish I saw the inside of the cockpit! I saw everything outside the flying airplane were like a miniature diorama on a table! I wish I had a diorama of the stuff I saw from on the plane! At the end of the ride, the plane landed on the jet way and touched down! We saw our cousins Uncle Thom, Aunt Katherine, Sybille, Alex, and Brom waiting for us to see them! We slept at their house for three nights. During the stay in Massachusetts, one day, Dad was driving somewhere, and by mistake, we ended up in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, but anyway, we thought it was cool and pretty, like an oasis island! One other day, we went to a park in a little city, and it had a playground and an area with water shooting out of the smooth, rocky surface! And during that day we left for New Hampshire, and we swam in the salty, wavy Atlantic Ocean on a beach! Then, on the third day, we all went to a train station and waited for a train to pick us up. It probably took us a half hour for the train to arrive. We walked on the empty train tracks and waited on a bench. Finally, the train came! We rode for a whole hour on that express train, and finally, the final stop was our stop, South Station. A loudspeaker announcer said, "This is the final stop. Thank you for riding!", so we got off, and sure enough, we were in Boston! We explored old places and public urban places in Boston, and we even ate, I think. And we went to a park with such a big fountain! I dipped my feet in, and walked in it, but then I slipped and my pants got all wet! Yuck! Cold! But no need for me to worry, my pants dried in no time! Then when it was time to leave, we went to an underground parking area and, since our cousins lived in Massachusetts, they waved goodbye as we walked past a gate to the parking area. The doors swung up when we payed with the card, and when they did, we waved goodbye back to them, and went to the other side through the exit, waiting for a city bus to come by and take us back to the airport where we were dropped off in Massachusetts three days ago! It drove to us, we got on, and the bus's inside looked COOL because it was a CITY bus! Then it came to the airport, the doors opened, we walked out, and into the airport and waited for our flight to start. The plane took us to Cleveland, Ohio! When we reached Cleveland, we waited for the flight that took us home. We found a payphone, and called Mom, and told her about our trip! She said it was excellent! We talked for a while, and we and Mom hung up, and kept waiting. Finally, our flight was ready! And so the plane took us back home! I saw the sunset out the window, and Mom was waiting out the airport! We went through the gate and hit the exit, and met Mom! It was a fun stay in Massachusetts!
