Activist-Helen Adams Keller
I went to the IMC and found several sources that taught me about Helen's life on the Internet. I used Google to look for some sources about her life. I used Google to also look for pictures that show me what she looked like. I took many notes about her in my "Activist Research Note Guide" packet. I wrote down the URL sources that I used to find information about Helen Keller. I took lots of notes and wrote summaries in my packet about her. The other day, I guess I finished my Glog of Helen Keller. Helen was an activist, and I looked up information about her from Wikipedia, Perkins, Quotes Page, and Biography, my Internet sources that had information about Helen. On my first Glog, I accidentally deleted it all, and now I had to start over a whole new Glog! Boy, was it boring and frustrating! But I bounced back and finished up that Glog about Helen Keller!
In 1886, tutor Anne Sullivan came into Helen's life and was involved for 49 years. Helen spent many years in schools for blind. She was elected to the National Women's Hall of Fame in 1965. She graduated from Radcliff College in 1904 at the age of 24; she was the first deaf and blind person the graduate from any college.

My Blog about my Chalk
This is a great thing for a blog! On warm days, I use my sticks of chalk to draw anything! I can use sidewalks, brick walls, cement, and concrete to use my great chalk! Those surfaces are my canvases! I can draw ANYTHING I feel! I can draw stuff that makes me happy! I wish the WHOLE world was my canvas for my chalk! I can draw pictures, illustrations, and words, and games and EVERYTHING, even things that make me happy! They can light up my life! A chalk "paradise!" Well, there's a lot more to it than just happy little drawings. You know what I mean? Artists draw ALL of their feelings. Not just happy feelings. Have you ever been frustrated? Sad? Or how about angry? It's OK to be angry sometimes. Angry is a "sometimes" feeling. When I draw something and it rains, the drops wipe the slate clean! Then, when it dries, I can draw new things! Rain or buckets full of water can drench the chalk and wash it away, and water can always erase it! But on chalkboards, I use an ERASER. I love using my chalk!
